		<description><![CDATA[Database and Systems Coordinator]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of United Way of Erie County’s computer network and campaign database. This includes managing and maintaining the non-financial data in the database for United Way of Erie County, electronic giving campaigns, network and campaign software updates, network operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.</p>

<p>Requirements: <br />
-Ability to work independently as well as being a committed team player. <br />
-Ability to work with volunteers. <br />
-Strong written and oral communication skills .<br />
-Excellent organizational skills. <br />
-Demonstrated computer skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and relational database software; skills in Access or <span class="caps">SQL </span>beneficial. Currently using Microsoft Office XP with plans to upgrade workstations to Office 2007.<br />
-Ability to manage and maintain Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 and Exchange Server. <br />
-Ability to manage and maintain network of approximately 20 workstations currently operating on Windows XP with plans to upgrade to Windows 7.<br />
-Flexible, self-motivated, possess a pleasant, helpful personality and must enjoy dealing with people. <br />
-Ability to multi-task, perform multi-faceted projects in addition to normal activities. <br />
-Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality and independent judgment. <br />
-Prior fundraising and/or non-profit experience a plus, but not required. <br />
-Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. </p>

<p>Summary:  The Marketing Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br />
•	Developing and implement local store marketing plans that drive sales and community awareness. <br />
•	Develop and coordinate grass root awareness campaigns. <br />
•	Establish relationships and develop promotional ideas with cross-promotional partners. <br />

<p>Skills/Qualifications: <br />
•	BA in Marketing or related field <br />
•	 3-7 years of marketing experience in a restaurant or retail multi-unit environment. <br />
•	Self starter with strong communication and organizational skills <br />
•	Goal oriented with the ability to complete multiple tasks within deadline<br />
•	Passionate about people, driven, positive with an upbeat attitude.  <br />
•	Position requires flexible hours; some nights and weekends<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mark your calendars for September 10-12, the date for this year’s imPAct Conference, which is hosted by Harrisburg Young Professionals and will take place in downtown Harrisburg. A Friday evening welcome reception at Level 2 will kick off the weekend. Saturday will be packed with professional sessions and networking opportunities focusing on this year’s theme of leadership. We’ll keep you updated on the speakers as we secure them, but we can tell you that the keynote speaker will be James Nevels, non-executive chair of The Hershey Company Board of Directors and the founder and chair of the Swarthmore Group. The festivities don’t stop until Sunday morning, when all the young professionals groups from around PA will meet up to share best practices over breakfast. If you’re an out-of-towner, the afternoon will be yours to roam around Harrisburg and the surrounding areas.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Seventh Annual Kickball Tournament will be held on August 7th!  Save the date and sign up now!]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Planning is underway for the 2010 yep! Kickball Tournament!  The Kickball Tournament is a <span class="caps">MUST </span>for all yep! members! </p>

<p>The Tournament will be held on August 7th at Harborcreek Community Park starting at 8:00 <span class="caps">AM. </span> Teams of 12 - 16 players will compete to be crowned yep! Kickball Champion! (Four of the team members must be female)</p>

<p>Teams are now forming and individuals can sign-up now by using the Paypal links below.  Cost will be $35.00 for yep! members and $40.00 for non-members before July 31st.  The cost will increase $5.00 per player after July 31st.</p>

<p>If you cannot play but would like to be part of the fun, sign-up to volunteer or sponsor the event.</p>
