Volunteer with yep! to stand for the Salvation Army's "Red Kettle" Christmas campaign

November 17, 2009 | Blog, Events, News

Volunteer with yep! to stand for the Salvation Army's "Red Kettle" Christmas campaign on Saturday, December 12th at the Northwest Bank Millcreek Mall Entrance. Individuals or pairs (you can bring a friend if you have one) of volunteers can choose to be at the location from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at any length of time they are available (one-hour increments). Volunteers do not solicit the public. They simply ring the bell, share a smile, and say "Thank You" to anyone who makes a donation. ALL of the funds that are raised during the campaign stay right here in Erie to provide programs for children, individuals, families, and senior citizens. A few examples of services for those less fortunate during the holiday seasons are: operating a food pantry that provides for anyone in need, offering winter clothing vouchers, supplying Christmas Baskets, and opening a Santa's Workshop. Anyone interested in volunteering is urged to sign up by completing the form below. A list of the available times has been published. If all time slots are filled, we will work with the Salvation Army to schedule a second volunteer opportunity.

Others unable to volunteer are encouraged to stop by to support the campaign via a donation or a cup of hot chocolate for our volunteers!
