Young Erie Professionals

yep! Partners with Earthforce and The Non-Profit Partnership

The 2009 Generation E Awards starts a new chapter for yep! and the Awards Ceremony. In addition to honoring young leaders in the community, yep! honored two organizations for their efforts to help improve the region though employing green practices.

However, as an organization we wanted to create a new model for selecting green nominations by partnering with local organizations that are making a substantial impact on the community. After several meetings and discussions, yep! is pleased to announce a formal partnership between Lake Erie Allegheny Earthforce, the Non-Profit Partnership, and Young Erie Professionals.

By utilizing the resources or each organization, the partnership will help each group fulfill their missions and provide a path for selecting the 2010 Generation E Green Award Recipient.

For 2009, the organizations have developed the following framework to create opportunities for yep! members and local groups to get involved in sustainability projects that will make Erie a better place to Live, Work, and Play.

Each organization will provide programmatic support to the effort and there are several ways that both individuals and groups can participate.
