Get Involved

Serving on a yep! committee is a great way to make new connections and build your resume. If you have experience in or are interested in learning about the following areas, E-mail the steering committee member in charge of that department. We will post particular needs that we have here.

Help organize yep!'s community involvement!

The community involvement component of yep! seeks to encourage and promote the participation of yep! members in volunteer and service endeavors throughout the Erie community. Members of the community involvement committee have the opportunity to interact with local service agencies, plan projects, inform other yep! members of volunteer opportunities, organize board trainings and assist with networking events. Contact Molly Reichard, or Nick Pagliari, Community Involvement Co-Chairs, about how to get involved.

Committee Members Needed for Membership Support

The Membership Committee is looking for individuals to be involved with helping to support and grow the yep! membership. As the welcoming committee of YEP, individuals interested should possess an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. If interested, or if you would like additional information, contact Sara Galbreath, Membership Chair, to learn more.

Civic Engagement Committee is Looking for Committee Members

Matt Wiertel, the chairman of the civic engagement committee, is recruiting committee members to work on 2008 initiatives. The committee is working with local authorities and government entities to develop solutions to issues that impact the region. If you would like to become a committee member, please send an e-mail to Matt Wiertel.

Committee Members Needed for
Professional Development and Leadership

The Personal and Professional Development committee oversees yep! programs such as the Mentorship Program and the Executive Coffee Talks and is also in charge of planning and hosting events such as the Ettiquette Dinner. If you're interested in joining this committee, contact Andrew Lincoln.
