A Word from Our President
The Future of yep!
It has been my privilege to be a member of yep! and it is my honor to now serve as its president. I look forward to tackling each of the following objectives and to working with each of you along the way.
I see the future of yep! as one where the organization and its members are synonymous with phrases like “professionalism and development,” “civic leaders,” “community mentors” and “organizational pride.” The member of yep! are young professionals - those of us who are new to Erie as well as those who want to see their hometown and their childhood friends prosper right here in Erie. In order to see that prosperity, yep! members must be empowered to take action within Erie through civic engagement or volunteering for the many causes in our community.
As Young Erie Professionals, we have an obligation to promote an organization we can all be proud of and that comes from within. Participation in yep! events and programs like the Executive Coffee Talks and Mentoring Program will make us see differences in our lives and instill a sense of pride and accompishment both professionally and personally. I see a lot of talent in the yep! membership, and I want to empower and encourage you all to be proactive and make a difference .
